This transport service brings cats to the nearest NNN clinic for surgery.
This is NOT a mobile surgery van.

Transport is available to anyone willing to drive to the listed pickup locations.

General Information

  • Healthy kittens and cats 3 months+ /3 lbs. WEIGHT is important!

  • Spaces limited to 2 cats per person unless approved

  • Pickup: 7:00–7:30 AM. We leave promptly at 730.

  • Return: 5:00 PM same day

PET Cat Eligibility

Pet cats must:

  • Be DOMESTOC/MIXED breed cats

  • Be healthy

  • Be under 6 years old (needs bloodwork so does NOT qualify for the transport)

    Not have active upper respiratory infection

  • No exotic/ purebreds accepted (Persian, Bengal, Himalayan, Maine Coon, Sphinx, Ragdoll etc) These cats have genetic medical conditions and should be neutered at a vet hospital.

Important:

  • PET cats 6 years and older require pre-op bloodwork and

    NOT eligible for transport

FERAL Cat Eligibility

  • Must be in humane trap (raccoon sized)

  • No kitten/squirrel traps

  • No cat carriers or dog crates

  • Left ear tip required

  • Pregnancies are terminated at no charge

Refund issued if you are unable to trap the cat.

Carrier & Trap Requirements

PET Cats

Required:

  • Hard-sided carrier only.

  • Towel or newspaper lining

  • Label with last name, phone number, and cat’s name

  • PLEASE make sure that carrier is secure. Use zip ties if needed

Not allowed:

  • Soft carriers

  • Backpacks

  • Cardboard boxes

  • Dog crates

If improper carrier is used → You will be turned away and refunded.

Pet cats are NOT ear tipped.

FERAL Cats

Required:

  • Humane raccoon-sized trap

  • Lined with newspaper

  • Covered with towel or sheet

  • Label trap with name & phone number if possible

Do NOT:

  • Transfer cats between containers in parking lot

  • Bring in carriers or dog crates

If brought in improper container → You will be turned away.

PET Cats

Male: $95 NO EARTIP
Female: $100 NO EARTIP
Gas surcharge: $5 per cat

  • Nail trim

  • Ear cleaning (if needed)

  • Fluids

  • Long-acting pain injection

  • Green tattoo along incision (no exceptions)

  • Female cats receive cone

FERAL Cats

$40 (male or female)
Gas surcharge: $5 per cat

Includes:

  • Rabies vaccine

  • Age-appropriate distemper

  • Ear mite treatment

  • Flea treatment

  • Worming

  • Fluids

  • Pain injection

  • Left ear tip

Pregnancy termination: No charge

Add-On Services

Microchip (includes registration): $25

Additional Fees for PETS (ferals not charged):

  • Cryptorchid male: $25 per side

  • Umbilical hernia: $25

  • PET pregnancy termination: $25

  • Flea treatment: $11

  • Worming meds: $5–$10

  • Ear mite treatment: $10

Staff will call for approval before charging additional services.

Important Medical Notes

  • No diagnostic testing is performed prior to spay.

  • If your PET cat is pregnant, pregnancy will be terminated.

  • If you do not want pregnancy terminated, do not schedule.

  • If female PET cat recently gave birth, wait 6 weeks before scheduling.

  • If cat has heart murmur or prior upper respiratory infection, disclose in email.

  • Provide all current medical records and rabies vaccine documentation.

  • If no rabies documentation provided, vaccine will be administered.

How to Schedule

There is no online form.

You must have access to a smartphone or computer. Email: transport@nnnlv.org

Include:

  • Desired location/date

  • Your name, address, phone (cell + landline w/ voicemail)

  • Preferred email

  • Cat name, sex, breed, age We do NOT accept purebred cats.

  • Requested add-on services

  • Rabies records (if applicable)

  • Medical history & medications

  • Indicate if using municipal vouchers so that scheduling will not charge you the full fee.

If feral cat age unknown, provide best estimate (Example: female/7 lbs. /1 year /black).

Payment Policy

  • Confirmation sent within 48–72 hours

  • Payment IN FULL due within 24 hours of confirmation

  • Appointments are not held without payment

  • Cannot accept payment over the phone

  • Credit card vaulting encouraged for additional treatment approvals

  • Transport staff are not equipped to accept payments

Vouchers:

  • $15 NNN TNR vouchers must be prepaid and brought to transport

  • Municipal/shelter vouchers must be brought to transport

Surgical Consent Forms

Forms will be emailed. Must be completed 2 weeks prior to transport.

Failure to complete → Appointment cancelled and refunded.

FERAL Cat:
