About No Nonsense Neutering

NNN started in 2008 and got a 501c3 in September of that same year. Beginning with one outpatient surgery clinic in the Lehigh Valley, NNN has expanded several times and ultimately now has 2 other locations in PA.: Reading, Berks County and Plains, Luzerne County. NNN provides affordable sterilization and vaccination services for pet owners, local cat and dog rescues and shelters and provides resources for community cats. NNN has touched the lives of 190,121 cats and dogs. 81,112 feral/community cats have come through our doors in traps to be fixed and vaccinated since 2008.

Our Impact.

New Program: In 2022, NNN continued to provide access to affordable spay-neuter services by starting a cat transport program for pet and feral cats. The focus is in areas with limited access to affordable vet neutering services: Lebanon, Monroe, Montgomery, Northumberland, Luzerne and Lackawanna Counties.

As a 501c3, the surgery fees we provide are deeply discounted for pet cats and dogs and for community cats.

No Nonsense Neutering began with a core group of women who understood the need for a high volume spay-neuter clinic for cats and dogs in the Lehigh Valley, PA. With some start-up funding and a donated space at Peaceable Kingdom shelter in Whitehall, PA., NNN started as a cat neutering clinic in February 2008 as a 501c3 non profit clinic. Within a 1 1/2 years, NNN had outgrown that space and moved to its current Allentown location and began accepting dogs.

Our Board is comprised of volunteer members of the community who share the vision that making neutering surgery affordable is important for the long term health of cats and dogs.
