Sunny Passwaters
Around 2005 we were given two special gifts. Butch Cassidy and the Sun Dance Kid, aka Butch & Sunny, could barely open their eyes and probably shouldn't have been away from their mother so early. But they turned out to be two of the most loving and best friends you could imagine. Sunny passed away in 2009 after we found a large growth under his kidneys.
Sunny was the more soft-spoken and gentle of the two brothers. He never demanded much attention and was an observer who sat quietly and watched everything going on.
I work from home and so Sunny and I became great buddies. My nick name for him was 'Sunny Buddy' because he would sleep and hangout on my desk as I worked. Sunny was one of my best friends and I'm fortunate enough to have gotten to know my buddy Sunny. Rest in peace Sunny! I'll always remember you.
