No Nonsense Neutering has a brand new website! We've been working hard with Jesse, a website developer and search engine marketing guru, over the past few months to come up with a nice layout and modern design like rounded corners, drop shadows and an easy to use navigation that uses some roll-over effects when you mouse over them.
We decided to incorporate 3 columns into our website. The two side columns contain important information that is accessible on every page of the website. The right column contains the same information as our old website.
Improved logo, navigation and layout
We re-worked our logo and navigation area. The navigation uses a mouse-over effect and the logo uses some shadow and highlighting effects to give us a more modern look. The over-all page layout is much wider then our old website. You'll noticed we've filled our navigation with as much helpful information as possible.
Rounded corners and shadows help modernize our look
As you can see the top-left and top-right edges of the site container use a rounded edge. This is typically not something that is achieved by normal HTML coding unless you use a background image (that's changed with CSS3) that contains rounded corners. That is what we did and it helps give us a fresh modern look.
We also used some subtle shadows to create visual depth.
Facebook, Twitter and Google Buzz integration
On some web pages of our site you will notice the SHARE LINKS at the top left of the page. News updates posted to the news section of our website always provide these share links. If you find something you like on our website, you can easily click one of the share links to post the page to your Facebook, Buzz or Twitter account. This way all your friends can see the interesting article you're reading.
Three column layout means more information
The new site uses a three column layout. The information on the left and right sides does not change too often and is some of our most important information and links. You'll find a surgery calendar and news updates on the right column. The news updates always display our most recently posted news articles.
